The day the Mickey Mantle statue came strolling into town from Texas was an exciting day for the area and for Mickey Mantle Field.  Pictures from that day and the events that lead to getting the statue on it's permanent home are shown below.

With the help of Chandler Crane, Neece Construction, and Joe Schaeffer we were able to get the statue set and covered for the June 12 unveiling.
